The soccer commercial was very funny. the last thing i expected was for the kid to use his shirt to whip the can. I think its funny how pepsi uses a star soccer player to sell a drink thats loaded with sugars and carbs drinking pepsi is not the healthiest way to go but the commercial is effective
I think using humor in commercials is one of the best and most effective techniques to get people to remember the commercial. People often repeat jokes to their friends from the commercial and it helps them remember it. This commercial uses irony to make the audience laugh, and I think it's an effective ad. Also, they use a famous soccer player to endorse the product along with a young boy. I think this ad targets younger boys because they are supposed to see the ad and think it's cool to drink Pepsi because David Beckham likes it too.
